Decent food for the price, very affordable, definitely not a burger place but you can't go wrong with other dishes like their tartare. The atmosphere and everything was perfect. :-)
We came here for my birthday celebration. The entrée and dessert were delicious, but my main course experience was a bit of a horror. I ordered octopus and it was too salty, even after more than a week I could still remember the weird taste. Like very very uncomfortable to eat, I couldn't even eat a half of my plate so it wasn't a good birthday experience. The price wasn't worth the taste. The staff who served me was very kind but at the end when I complained while paying they only say sorry about my experience, nothing more meaningful.
A fabulous restaurant for lunch, apero or dinner when in Nantes. I loved the convivial atmosphere. I went for lunch & chose the 3-course menu du jour which was excellent value-for-money. Chef Ben Guiffant combines succulent flavours with creative ingredients & his slow-cooked veal & fluffy polenta was heaven! Book early to avoid disappointment: it’s a popular place!

I loved my lunch at Bonbourg when visiting Nantes. I chose the 3-course menu de jour, which was great value for money at only €19. Every mouthful was delicious, especially the polenta & slow-cooked veal & tiramisu! Friendly staff, great service & a convivial atmosphere all added to the succulent flavours. Book early to avoid disappointment!
